“We need you to create your brand…”
When the Social Media Manager at the photography studio I work for told me this, my head immediately starting spinning with roughly 400 questions. “What is a brand? What would MY brand look like? Who am I? Do I really want to put myself out there THAT much? How do I create a brand? Is that like a logo? What do I do?” AHHHHH! (Cue all of the inner panic and screaming).
So I took to the googles because what else do you turn to when you’re trying to “create” something that you don’t know how to do. I found a plethora of articles with how-tos, and checkbox lists a mile long of what you need to do. The answer is way more simple than I made it out to be (if you’re asking “Kelly, do you mean you did a lot of overthinking because you were afraid of something you don’t know a ton about,” the answer is absolutely yes).
Long story long – this is the start of me putting a face behind things I’ve put out before totally anonymously, and branching out to say “Hiiiiii! This is the crazy chaotic life of a human mom, cat mom, dog mom, girlfriend, studio manager, wanna-be author, book nerd, video gamer, open-minded Christian, and so many more things.”
Buckle up, bitches. We’re going for a ride. I hope you enjoy it with me.

At this point, you’re probably thinking “who the hell are you,” OR why “WTH Kells.” Am I right?
If you’re kinda old like me and not super up to date with what the kids say these days, “wth” is short-hand/text lingo for “what the hell,” which is basically my catchphrase as a human with an absolutely chaotic life (in the best way possible… most of the time).
As for the other half of “WTH Kells,” that’s easy. My name is Kelly, and my boyfriend calls me “Kells” (at least when I’m not yelling at him that using my name is an unacceptable form of addressing me). I’ve had no less than 723 nicknames, but “Kells” just stuck in my own head and feels like me more than most of the nicknames I’ve been given. If you want to get to know more about me, go ahead and click on that little button at the top or bottom of the page that says “about,” or you can find links to my social media pages at the bottom too!
Keeping it WTH-worthy,
-Kells-
